The Surface Hydrology Research Group studies the hydrological processes occurring in watersheds through numerical simulations, remote sensing and field data collection. Our interests lie in the overlap between different fields: hydrology and meteorology, surface and ground water, ecology and hydrology. Our mission is to create a nationally-recognized research program in surface water hydrology with core competencies in advanced hydrologic modeling, hydrological process understanding and observational networks. Our group is composed of undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral research fellows and faculty. We invite you to find out more about the Surface Hydrology Research group through this website, in particular by visiting our project areas, publications and model development efforts.
